The Stamps of Life August 2023 Clubs – 5 Cards – TailGate2Stamp

Hello Crafty Friends.

The The Stamps of Life August club kits have been released! In this post, I’ll be sharing an unboxing of the August club items and the cards I made with them.

The Stamp Club and Die Hard Club set is called TailGate2Stamp. The theme is an old fashioned pick up truck and it is so versatile. You can use it for fall cards, adding pumpkins in the back of the truck. You can also use it for winter cards, adding a Christmas tree in the back of the truck. It can also be used for birthday cards, adding presents with some balloons in the back of the truck. There are so many possibilities! The sentiments on the stamp set fit perfectly on the back of the pick up truck and the smaller sentiments fit inside of the license plate.

By joining the Stamp club, you will receive the TailGate2Stamp set this month which is shown below.

The Die Hard Club features the TailGate2Stamp stamp set plus the coordinating dies, all shown below.

The Card Kit Club is called Fall Greetings and it corresponds to the monthly club set called TailGate2Stamp.

The card kit is packed full of so many fun products. It includes 12 pieces of cardstock, A2 envelopes, plastic storage envelope, paper pad, Fall Greetings word die, puffy stickers, epoxy dots, banner sticker sentiments, an A1 Circle Flip-it card die set, red ribbon, and felt sunflower stickers.

Card 1

For Card 1, I used the card sketch shown above for inspiration. This card sketch is MFTWSC57.

1. White A2 Card Base – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
2. Blue Cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
3. Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pen, Light Blue (to color the window of the truck)
   

Card 2

1. White A2 Card Base – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
2. Brown Cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
3. Sunflower Pattern Paper – 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
4. Orange Pattern Paper – 4 1/8 x 1″
5. Buffalo Plaid Pattern Paper – 4 1/8″ 1 1/2″
6. Scrapbook.com Ink – Lantern Light (license plate), Sky Blue (truck window)

Card 3

For Card 3, I used the card sketch shown above for inspiration. This card sketch is Sunday Sketches SS022.

1. White A2 Card Base – 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
2. Buffalo Plaid Pattern Paper – 3″ x 4 1/4″
3. Pumpkin Pattern Paper – 4″ x 2″
4. Scrapbook.com Ink – Guacamole (edges of leaves), Orange Spice (edges of pumpkin)

Card 4

For this card, I used the A1 Circle Flip-it Card Die Set included in the card kit. I fussy cut the pick up truck and pumpkins from the pattern paper pad. The truck was the perfect size for the center circle of the flip-it. I used Scrapbook.com Midnight Blue ink to ink the edges of the pattern paper. I added the sunflower puffy stickers to the right panel of the card.

Card 5

For card 5, I make a shaped card using the TailGate2Stamp stamp set and dies.

3. Versafine Onxy Black Ink
4. Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens: Truck: Persian Green and Turquoise Green; Brake Lights: Carmine Red; Bumper and Mirrors: Gray; Window: Light Blue; License Plate: Yellow; Leaves: Olive Green, Bright Yellow, Yellow, Carmine Red; Pumpkins: Orange and Olive Green (stem); Tires: Dark Gray
5. Pink and Main EZ Flow Water Brush
