Today I’m sharing a card I made using the dotted square dies from The Stamps of Life. The dotted square dies are nesting dies that come with 8 dotted square dies with the largest being 4″ x 4″ to the smallest being 7/8″ x 7/8″. You can use them for layering cardstock on your cards. You can even use them to stamp sentiments inside. I used them on this card in both ways along with the sloths2stamp stamp set to make this adorable sloth card.
The Stamps of Life June 2020 card kit was released on June 15 and I’m excited to share with you the 12 cards that I made with this kit. This kit corresponds to the monthly stamp and die set called sunglasses2stamp. There are so many fun products in the June card kit.
The June card kit is called the Sunshine kit and is perfect in time for summer! The color pallet for this month is ocean, pool, razzleberry, candy, green apple, kiwi, banana, lemonade, and powdered sugar. This kit comes with 12 cardstock sheets — one in each color plus four powdered sugar cardstock sheets. The petite paper pad is the Sunshine Collection and comes with 24 double sided sheets of patterned paper. It also includes two sheets of sunglasses in various sizes that match the monthly stamp set, sunglasses2stamp, which can be die cut with the corresponding shadow dies from the sunglasses2stamp die set.
The card kit also comes with a seashell die, a sentiment stamp set, a “Sunshine” word die, epoxy dots, sunglasses puffy stickers, bows, two ribbon (ocean and candy), idea card, a large storage envelope to put everything in, and a set of envelopes.
As a special bonus, The Stamps of Life is including TWO FREE die sets in every card kit through December 2020. Let me just say that these are not small dies…Nope! They are large die sets! The two free items in my kit are the pear dies ($16.41 value) that match the pear2stamp set and thekey dies ($10.95 value). That a $27.36 value in FREE gifts! Every card kit club member may receive different freebies.

Today I’m sharing a card I made using the Puppy Love die set from The Stamps of Life. This die set includes the dies to make this adorable puppy and includes additional dies for a shirt, overalls, and two buttons. Using patterned paper or colored cardstock, you can die cut the outfit in any color or pattern you’d like to dress the puppy however you choose.

Hello! Today I am sharing a card that I made using the BestBudsBears2Stamp stamp set from The Stamps of Life. This stamp set includes the two twin bear stamps you see pictured in my card as well as some adorable sentiments. There is also a matching die set to go along with this set.
I started off by stamping both bear images onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth cardstock with Spectrum Noir Finesse Rustic Brown alcohol proof ink. I colored the images with Copic markers. When I was finished coloring, I die cut the bears with the matching dies.
The card base is from the Word Stand-Up Card die set from The Stamps of Life. I die cut the card base with gingersnap card stock and used the patterned paper from the Blessed Collection for the layering pieces and adhered them to the card.
For the top portion of the card, I adhered the bear images as shown. I die cut a balloon from the 5 x 7 Box Card die set using powered sugar cardstock for the shadow layer and blue jay cardstock for the balloon. I adhered the balloon to the hand of the bear on the right and used white twine for the string. I added a die cut bow in blue jay cardstock to the bear on the left.
For the bottom portion of the card, I stamped the “Best Buds” sentiment with Chocolate ink. I used the Ribbon die and die cut a a piece of powdered sugar cardstock and adhered it above the sentiment. Finally, I added the flower embellishments to each side of the sentiment.
Today on my blog, I’m sharing a card that I made using the Double Scallop A2 Card die set from The Stamps of Life. This die set includes a die that you can use to make an A2 size scallop card base. There are also two scallop layering dies — one with dots and one without dots. This die set also includes a flower die and shadow. That’s not all — it also includes a “Happy Birthday” and “Thank You” word dies with shadows. For this card, I made a Thank You card.
Today I’m sharing two cards that I made using the dotted flower background die set from The Stamps of Life. I’m also sharing two techniques that you can use with your background dies. One technique is simply die cutting the background die and ink-blending the cardstock after it’s die cut to create the beautiful background on the left (above). The second technique is using your background die as a stencil as shown in the card on the right (above).
