Today on my blog I’m sharing two cards that I made using the Large Circle Flip-it and Circle Add-on word dies.
In my first card, I used the Large Circle Flip-it to create this Thinking of You card. I just love the flowers included in the circle flip-it card base. I layered them up and inked the edges to give them some dimension. The Thinking of You die in the center of the flip-it card is part of an add-on set of dies. The add-on set consists of other words such as Just Pray, I’m So Sorry, and Thank You My Friend.
Large Circle Flip-it
For the card below, I used the shaker circle die set which is another add-on die set that you can use in conjunction with the Large Circle Flip-it or as standalone dies. What I love about these dies is that they not only cut out of the circle, but they also put a stitched frame around the circle in the cardstock. You can use these to frame an image on a card.
To see how I made these cards, watch my tutorial here:
There is a new flip-it card die set available on HSN. It’s the Oval Flip-it from The Stamps of Life. I LOVE to make flip-it cards because they are so easy to make. Whenever I need a quick card, the flip-it cards are my “go to” card base. Here’s a picture of the oval flip. It includes the card base, cupcake die, and the Happy Birthday word die for the center of the oval shape. It also includes a dragonfly die and a Hello word die which are not pictured. There is also an add-on set available which includes three additional word dies including Just a Note, Thinking of You, and Congrats.

Birthday cards are the cards that I make the most of so I was so excited when I found out that The Stamps of Life was releasing a Birthday Kit. This kit includes the Brights Everyday Collection paper pad with a color scheme of Kiwi, Green Apple, Sunshine, Blueberry, Ocean, and Poppy. Poppy is the newest color at The Stamps of Life. The kit will also include a large Poppy ink pad and refill, felt border stickers, a sprinkles stencil, a stamp set with a fun birthday party scene, matching dies, and a large sheet of die cuts that include cupcakes, birthday hats, balloons, and presents.
I’m excited to share with you all of the fun cards and tags that I created with this kit. I created a total of 13 projects — 11 cards and 2 tags. If you are interested in seeing an unboxing of the kit and my design process for all of my cards and tags, watch my YouTube video.

The Stamps of Life August 2020 card kit was released on August 15 and I’m excited to share with you the 10 cards that I made with this kit. This kit corresponds to the monthly stamp and die set called Birds2Stamp as well as the add-on set, MoreBirds2Stamp. Here’s a picture of everything that is included in the August Card Kit Club.
The August card kit is called the “Fabulous” collection. The color pallet for this month is Strawberry, Tangerine, Cantaloupe, Banana, Green Apple, Mint Chip, Ocean, Grape, and Powdered Sugar. This kit comes with 12 cardstock sheets — one in each color plus four Powdered Sugar cardstock sheets. (Note: My kit came with the Sunshine cardstock instead of Banana and the Cherry cardstock instead of Cantaloupe. Both colors match very closely, but I wanted to point this out because when I make my cards, I refer to the cardstock by the names of the colors I received in my kit.)
The petite paper pad is the Fabulous Collection and comes with 24 double-sided sheets of patterned paper. It also includes four sheets of birds in various colors that match the monthly stamp set, Birds2Stamp, and the add-on set, MoreBirds2Stamp. The birds can be die cut with the corresponding shadow dies from the corresponding die sets.
The card kit also comes with a Fabulous word die, a die to make a flower, epoxy dots, palm tree puffy stickers, two ribbon, a sentiment stamp set, paperclips with bows attached, idea card, and a set of envelopes.
As a special bonus, The Stamps of Life is including THREE FREE dies this month! There is a Happy Birthday word die which is a freebie from Stephanie and there are two large die sets which are freebies from Ken. Ken is including two freebie die sets in every card kit through December 2020. My two freebies were the BananaSplit2Stamp dies ($16.41 value) and the Flower with Stem Dies ($12.88 value).

Card 1
My first card was inspired by Mojo Monday Sketch 543.
My third card was also inspired by the MFT 235 Sketch, however, I modified it slightly by moving the sentiment toward the bottom of the card, using a heart instead of a circle, and using a larger piece of paper underneath the heart.
My fourth card was inspired by the Sweet Sunday 268 Sketch.
Supplies
Cardstock Powdered Sugar, Strawberry, Sunshine, Green Apple (I used Sunshine cardstock because that’s what came in my kit, although it should’ve been Banana.)
My fifth card was inspired by Sweet Sunday Sketch 286, but I modified it slightly so that my card is in the landscape direction.
