Summer is almost here! I love summer and love the beach, sand, pool, and palm trees. In today’s post I am sharing 10 cards I made using Echo Park’s Pool Party collection. This collection is all about summer. I used the 12 x 12 Collection Kit, coordinating solid card stock, and puffy stickers. There are a lot more products in this collection than I used, and I will have a link to all of the supplies in the collection listed at the bottom of this page.

4-inch Alphabet Die Set

Cards with Alphabet and Number Dies

Hello!

Today on my blog I’m sharing three cards that I made using the new alphabet and number die set from The Stamps of Life. These dies are 4 inches in size. They are big! You can use these as the centerpiece of a card. You can also use them on large banners or as standalone letters and numbers on a fold-it card. I used these dies in three different ways.

For the card below, I used pattern paper to die cut the top layering piece and adhered it to a white shadow layer.

For the card below, I used only the dotted die and die cut into the cardstock to create this fun dot pattern.

For my final card, I used the number dies. I used all three dies with different color cardstock for the layering pieces. I love how the dots show through with a different color than the rest of the layers.

Iced Coffee Card

Hello!

Today on my blog I’m sharing two cards that I made using the IcedCoffee2Stamp set from The Stamps of Life. Even if you are not a coffee lover, this set may appeal to you. I don’t drink coffee. In fact, I’ve never had a sip of coffee in my life, but when I saw this set, I immediately thought of milkshakes! You’ll see why when you see my second card.

For my first card, I colored both of the coffee stamps and layered them on the doily.

For the inside, I used the letters4lettertray to finish stamping the sentiment. I also used the miniature donut from the Donut2Stamp set for the inside.

Iced Coffee Card

For my second card, I used one of the coffee images to create three milkshakes on this slimline card. This coffee stamp can also be used as an icee.

I added some glossy accents to the whipped cream on the milkshakes and then added some sprinkles shaker bits to the top. I love the added dimension of the sprinkles.

Birdbath Cards

Hello!

Today on my blog I’m sharing two cards that I made using the April club set from The Stamps of Life, Birdbath2stamp, and the add-on set, Morebirdbath2stamp.

For my first card, I stamped the images and colored them using my Copic markers. I also used the stamp for the bushes from the Morebirdbath2stamp set. For the background, I used a cloud stencil along with Lemonade and Sunshine ink to ink up the cardstock to resemble a sky. I added a scalloped rectangle border around the image by layering two of the largest scalloped rectangle dies and diecutting them from the Sky cardstock.

For my second card, I made a slimline card using the birdbath and the new dotted slimline panel die to create this cute scene.

Slimline Cards

The Stamps of Life has a new release over on the HSN website. It’s actually a product that they currently have for sale on their own website, but HSN is selling it as a bundle. If you like slimline cards and have always wanted to make some, this Slimline Card Die Set is for YOU!

The bundle includes the die to cut the slimline card base. That means, no measuring when cutting your card base! Yay! It also includes a fun background die which can be used for a starry night or even snow background. There are also several word dies in a beautiful script font. The words included are Happy Birthday, Thanks, Pray, Love, and Hello. There are also some butterfly dies included in the set.

These products can all be purchased on The Stamps of Life website or on HSN. If you purchase them on HSN, you are purchasing all products in a bundle for one price. If you purchase them on The Stamps of Life website, the script words are sold separately than the slimline card base die set.

Hello!

Today I’m sharing two cards that I made using the Create-a-Scene die set from The Stamps of Life. This die set makes a fun card base and has several other dies that can be added to it to make a fun card (ie: dotted panel dies, Celebrate word die, candles, birdhouses, trees, etc.)

For my first card, I used the Celebrate word die and candles die set to add to the card base to make a fun birthday card.

  • Create a Scene - Birthday Card

For my second card, I used the birdhouse dies which are part of the Create-a-Scene set. The birdhouse dies were intended to be used for the front of the Create-a-Scene card base, but I chose to use them on the slimline card as shown below.

Fun Flower Slimline Cards

Today on my blog I’m sharing two slimline cards that I made using the Fun Flower Slimline Panel die from The Stamps of Life. This panel die fits perfectly on the front of a slimline card. It has a lot of beautiful flowers that make up the design. For my cards, I die cut three pieces of cardstock/pattern paper from the panel die and pieced in different parts from each of my die cuts to make two cards.

The Stamps of Life January 2021 card kit was released on January 15 and this kit is AMAZING! First of all, this is the first time EVER that The Stamps of Life has included a 6″ x 9″ paper pad! Woo Hoo! This larger paper pad is perfect for making slimline cards.

This kit corresponds to the monthly stamp and die set called FishTank2stamp as well as the add-on set, MoreFishTank2Stamp. Here’s a picture of everything that is included in the January Card Kit.

The Stamps of Life January 2021 Card Kit Contents

The January card kit is called the “Loving Life” collection. The color pallet for this month is Poppy, Blueberry, Sky, Blue Jay, Grape, Sunshine, Kiwi, Cloud, and Powdered Sugar.  This kit comes with 12 cardstock sheets — one in each color plus four Powdered Sugar cardstock sheets.

The 6″ x 9″ paper pad is the Loving Life Collection and comes with 24 double-sided sheets of patterned paper. It also includes four sheets of fish tanks and fish, all of which can be die cut using the shadow dies from the FishTank2Stamp dies and MoreFishTank2Stamp dies. In total, there are 28 fish, 8 starfish, 8 seaweed, 6 turtles, and 10 fish tanks for a total of 60 die cut pieces. I love how these die cuts can be used to make quick and easy cards.

The card kit also comes with a Loving Life word die, white epoxy dots, two ribbon, a sentiment stamp set with two additional fish stamps and matching dies, yellow bow embellishments, fish puffy stickers, idea card, a set of envelopes, and a large storage envelope to put everything in. In addition, The Stamps of Life included a freebie this month which is a large Stamps of Life tote bag.
