Hello! Today I’m sharing two cards I made using the Sports2Stamp set from The Stamps of Life. This stamp set is perfect for those sports fans in your life. It has stamps for several sports including baseball, soccer, football, and basketball.
For my first card, I used the KennyDoll1 stamp set, the soccer ball from the sports2stamp stamp set, and the cleats from the matching dies and created a soccer scene on my card.
For my second card, I used the baseball stamps and made them the focal point on top of a dotted star die cut on the front of the card.

The Stamps of Life August 2020 card kit was released on August 15 and I’m excited to share with you the 10 cards that I made with this kit. This kit corresponds to the monthly stamp and die set called Birds2Stamp as well as the add-on set, MoreBirds2Stamp. Here’s a picture of everything that is included in the August Card Kit Club.
The August card kit is called the “Fabulous” collection. The color pallet for this month is Strawberry, Tangerine, Cantaloupe, Banana, Green Apple, Mint Chip, Ocean, Grape, and Powdered Sugar. This kit comes with 12 cardstock sheets — one in each color plus four Powdered Sugar cardstock sheets. (Note: My kit came with the Sunshine cardstock instead of Banana and the Cherry cardstock instead of Cantaloupe. Both colors match very closely, but I wanted to point this out because when I make my cards, I refer to the cardstock by the names of the colors I received in my kit.)
The petite paper pad is the Fabulous Collection and comes with 24 double-sided sheets of patterned paper. It also includes four sheets of birds in various colors that match the monthly stamp set, Birds2Stamp, and the add-on set, MoreBirds2Stamp. The birds can be die cut with the corresponding shadow dies from the corresponding die sets.
The card kit also comes with a Fabulous word die, a die to make a flower, epoxy dots, palm tree puffy stickers, two ribbon, a sentiment stamp set, paperclips with bows attached, idea card, and a set of envelopes.
As a special bonus, The Stamps of Life is including THREE FREE dies this month! There is a Happy Birthday word die which is a freebie from Stephanie and there are two large die sets which are freebies from Ken. Ken is including two freebie die sets in every card kit through December 2020. My two freebies were the BananaSplit2Stamp dies ($16.41 value) and the Flower with Stem Dies ($12.88 value).

Card 1
My first card was inspired by Mojo Monday Sketch 543.
My third card was also inspired by the MFT 235 Sketch, however, I modified it slightly by moving the sentiment toward the bottom of the card, using a heart instead of a circle, and using a larger piece of paper underneath the heart.
My fourth card was inspired by the Sweet Sunday 268 Sketch.
Supplies
Cardstock Powdered Sugar, Strawberry, Sunshine, Green Apple (I used Sunshine cardstock because that’s what came in my kit, although it should’ve been Banana.)
My fifth card was inspired by Sweet Sunday Sketch 286, but I modified it slightly so that my card is in the landscape direction.
Supplies
Cardstock Powdered Sugar, Cherry, Ocean, Strawberry, Sunshine, Licorice (I used Sunshine and Cherry cardstock because that’s what came in my kit, although it should’ve been Banana and Cantaloupe.)
Cardstock Powdered Sugar, Sunshine, Chocolate, Green Apple, Grape (I used Sunshine cardstock because that’s what came in my kit, although it should’ve been Banana.)
Cardstock Powdered Sugar, Ocean, Strawberry, Sunshine (I used Sunshine cardstock because that’s what came in my kit, although it should’ve been Banana.)
Cardstock Mint Chip, Ocean, Cherry, Sunshine (I used Sunshine and Cherry cardstock because that’s what came in my kit, although it should’ve been Banana and Cantaloupe.)
Here is the third card that I made for the Stamps of Life Fan Club Facebook group weekly challenge “ice cream.” For this card, I wanted to use a stamp set that wouldn’t normally be used for an ice cream card. This time, I used the Elves2Stamp stamp. I stamped the image on Crafter’s Companion Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth cardstock and colored with my alcohol markers and then die cut it with the matching Elves2Stamp die.
The miniature ice cream cones are from the IceCream2Stamp and were stamped onto the same cardstock and colored with Spectrum Sparkle markers. To get the double scoop of ice cream on the cones in the elf’s hand, I stamped the cone image a few times and fussy cut only the ice cream portion of the stamp two times and then layered the ice cream scoops on top of each other. Since the elf’s hands can open, I placed two ice cream cones in his hands.
The card base was die cut with the Sizzix Framelits Flip-Its by Stephanie Barnard (660714) using Banana cardstock. The patterned paper is from the Hello Friend Collection. The sentiment “for someone sweet” is also from the same patterned paper pad. The blue polka dot paper in the center was cut with a stitched rectangle die.
The Happy Birthday sentiment in the inside of the card is a stamp from the Foxes2Stamp stamp set. The “Calories don’t count on holidays” is from a stamp set from the BananaSplit2Stamp stamp set.
