Autumn Pumpkins with Copic Coloring | Pretty Pink Posh

Hello crafty friends.

For today’s card, I did a little bit of Copic coloring and stenciling to create a fall card using some products from Pretty Pink Posh’s September 2023 release.

Pretty Pink Posh’s September 2023 release is packed full of fall-themed stamps, dies, and stencils. If you would like to see all of the products in the release, watch my unboxing video on YouTube or below.

You can purchase all of the products in one bundle and save!!

Be sure to check out my YouTube video to see how I colored my pumpkins and made my card.

I started by stamping the images from the Pretty Pink Posh Autumn Pumpkins stamp set onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I used the following colors:

Orange Pumpkins – Y35, YR04, YR09, R29

Teal Pumpkins – BG11, BG13, BG18

Squash – E50, E42, YR21

Leaves – G40, G43, YG67

Stem – E42, E35

If you would like to see how I colored my pumpkins, be sure to watch my video above. Although I do not claim to be an expert in coloring, I have had a little bit of practice over the past several years and I just do what I think looks best to me. After I colored the images, I die cut them with the coordinating dies.

Next, I set the stamped images aside and I worked on my card background. I cut a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”.  I inked the cardstock with the following Distress Oxide inks: Salvaged Patina, Scattered Straw, and Dried Marigold. I randomly applied the ink so that I had different colors throughout the stencil. Next, I applied Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink to the edges of the stenciled background. To finish off the background, I flicked some gold metallic ink and Walnut Stain Distress ink onto the background.

Finally, I glued the pumpkins and the Thankful word die onto the card layer. Next, I finished my card by adding it to a piece of 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” brown cardstock.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a great day!
