Light Up Card | Pear Blossom Press and Pink and Main Collaboration

Hello crafty friends.

Today I’m joining Pear Blossom Press and Pink and Main for a fun collaboration. I am making a light-up card using products from both amazing companies. This is the first light-up card that I made and I have to say that it’s so fun and easy!

I used the Pink and Main Reset stamp set which is a perfect stamp to use when sending reminders to friends to take time for themselves.

I wanted my card to have lots of shine and shimmer so I colored the nail polish bottles with Scrapbook.com Glitter Brush Markers. I used the following colors: Raspberry Pink, Sunshine Yellow, Frosty Blue, Orange Juice, Key Lime Green, and Royal Purple. The Glitter Brush Marker is the lighter color on the nail polish bottle and it is so sparkly!

I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens in coordinating colors to color the stars on the nail polish bottles. The colors I used are Peach Pink, Yellow, Light Blue, Orange, May Green, and Violet. I used the Light Gray Zig pen and the Blender to color the top of the nail polish bottle.

I used the following Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens to color the girl:

Robe and Accessories: Peach Pink, Blender
Hair: Mocha Brown, Brown, Blender
Skin: Mustard, Flesh Color, Blender
Cheeks: Sugared Almond Pink

I added all of my stamps to a piece of white cardstock that I die cut with a Pink and Main Stitched Rectangle die.

To add more sparkle, I used the Pear Blossom Press Twinkle Lights behind three of the nail polish bottles. I used my piercing tool to poke a hole inside three of the stars.

I added the twinkle light to the back of the white cardstock, making sure that the light ends were directly behind the holes in the cardstock. I taped all of the wires on the back of the cardstock and added foam tape before adhering the white panel to the pattern paper.
