Coloring with Zig Clean Color Markers | Pretty Pink Posh

Hello crafty friends.

Today I’m sharing a Mother’s Day card that I made using watercoloring and stenciling with products from Pretty Pink Posh.

For the background of my card, I used the Pretty Pink Posh Layered Floral Vines stencil. I didn’t want the background to be too bold since the daisies were going to be the focal point of my card, so I decided to use pastel inks to create a very light background. I used Catherine Pooler inks as follows:

Stencil Layer A – Wintergreen
Stencil Layer B – Cotton Candy
Stencil Layer C – Be Mine

I used the Pretty Pink Posh Daisies stamp and colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers in the following colors:

Pink Flowers: Pink, Peach Pink, Light Pink, Blender
Purple Flower: Purple, Light Violet, Blender
Center of Flower and Bow: Cadmium Yellow, Mimosa, Blender
Leaves: Forest Green, Emerald Green, Green Shadow, Blender

For the sentiment, I die cut the Pretty Pink Posh Mom/Mother Shadow die and colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers in Pink, Peach Pink, Light Pink to create an ombre effect. I added this to three shadow layers that I die cut from white cardstock.

I added the flower layer to a piece of pink cardstock to bring out more of the pink in the card and then I added it to an A2 size card base.
