Cupcake Christmas Tree Card | Pretty Pink Posh

Today, I’m excited to share a Christmas card I made using some fabulous products from Pretty Pink Posh. This card combines a festive holiday vibe with a touch of elegance, making it the perfect way to send cheer this season. Let’s dive into the details of how I created this sweet card!

For this card, the focal point is the adorable Christmas tree-shaped cupcake, which I created using the Big Christmas Cupcake Dies from Pretty Pink Posh. I had so much fun piecing together this die set. The cupcake itself has a whimsical tree shape, and I added presents underneath to give it a festive touch.

To elevate the look, I added gold accents to both the cupcake and the presents using Spellbinders Gold Mirror Cardstock. The gold adds such a luxurious shine, and it’s the perfect touch to make this cupcake feel like a special holiday treat.

I wanted the cupcake to really shine as the focal point, so I kept the background soft and subtle. To create the background, I used the Pretty Pink Posh Layered Bows Stencils. These stencils are so fun to use, and they help create the prettiest bow pattern!

For the ink blending, I used Tsukineko, Delicata Ink Pad in Golden Glitz, which gives a light, golden hue that complements the gold accents without overpowering them. The result is a delicate backdrop that doesn’t take attention away from the star of the card—the cupcake!

Once the background was stenciled, I die-cut the panel with a Pretty Pink Posh Eyelet Rectangle Die to give it a polished finish with a beautiful frame. It adds a subtle, elegant touch to the overall design.

For the sentiment, I chose a phrase from the Pretty Pink Posh Sentiment Strips: Christmas stamp set. I heat-embossed the sentiment in gold embossing powder to match the gold accents on the cupcake and presents. The gold embossing just pops against the soft background and brings everything together beautifully. I die cut the sentiment with the Pretty Pink Posh Sentiment Strips Coordinating Dies.
