Today I’m joining Pretty Pink Posh in an Instagram hop celebrating their Spring/Easter release! This is Day 1 of a three-day Instagram hop where Pretty Pink Posh is giving away three $25 gift cards! Be sure to head over to Instagram for all of the details.
In today’s blog post, I’m sharing some beautiful pinwheels that I made. Pinwheels can be used for decoration and even party favors — birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, and holidays. These pinwheels are so easy to make by simply using the 3D Pinwheel die from Pretty Pink Posh and some beautiful pattern papers.
If you would like to see a detailed tutorial showing how I made my pinwheels, then watch my video on YouTube.
Here are some up close pictures of my 3D pinwheels. For the base of the pinwheel, I used lollipop sticks and attached them to the paper pinwheel with a glue dot.
I added a felt flower to the center for some extra decoration.
The pinwheels below are perfect for a child’s birthday party favor. I added the paper pinwheel to a pixie stick.
Here are some pinwheels added to an Easter themed pencil.
These are perfect to add to a child’s Easter basket.
Next, I used the Flat Pinwheel die set from Pretty Pink Posh to make a scene card. The Flat Pinwheel die set comes with four pinwheel shapes in various sizes. I used three of the sizes and layered them to make a dimensional pinwheel for my card.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think of my projects.

Today I am creating EIGHT cards using several products from Brutus Monroe including Chroma Mists, Glitter Glaze, stencils, embossing powder, stamps, and more! I am also excited to announce that Brutus Monroe products are now available at Scrapbook.com!
If you would like to see all of the Brutus Monroe products that I used to make my cards and how I made each card, check out my YouTube video below.
For my first two cards, I used the Brutus Monroe Glorious Garden stamp set and heat embossed it with Brutus Monroe Raven Embossing Powder onto watercolor cardstock. For both cards, I used the Brutus Monroe Chroma Mist in Coral, Pink, and Lilac Purple.
For the card below, I sprayed the Brutus Monroe Chroma Mist onto my mat and then dipped my card panel into the ink to create this watercolor look.
For the card below, I dipped a water brush into the Chroma Mist, and watercolored the stamp.
For my fourth card, I repeated the same process as the card above, except I used the Brutus Monroe Gilded Embossing Powder which is a beautiful gold color. I added the Ocean Waves Scrapbook.com Pops of Color to finish the card.
Spring is almost here and today Pretty Pink Posh released several new and fun Spring and Easter products. There are stamp sets, die sets, stencils, pearls, and clay confetti in the release. If you would like to see all of the products up close, watch my video below.
Today, I created three scene cards using some new products from Pretty Pink Posh’s Easter/Spring release.
If you would like to watch a tutorial of me making all three cards, then check out my YouTube video.
Card 1 features the Easter Signs stamp set and Easter Wreath stamp set. I inked the background using Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress Oxide inks. I used the Pretty Pink Posh Scallop Border die for the hillside border and the Nature Essentials die for the grass. I inked the borders with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink.
My second card features the Easter Wreath and Easter Signs stamp sets. I inked the background with Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress Oxide inks. The grass border was cut with the Nature Essential die set and I inked it with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink.
My third card features the Layered Eggs stencil. I used Squeezed Lemonade, Saltwater Taffy, and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink for the stencil. I die cut a scalloped circle from the Pretty Pink Posh Scallop Circle die set and created a scene inside of the circle using stamps from the Easter Signs and Easter Wreath stamp sets.
I hope you liked my cards today. Don’t forget, you can watch a full tutorial over on my YouTube channel showing how I made these cards.

Scene cards are some of my favorite cards to make and there are so many fun products in the Pretty Pink Posh February release that I just couldn’t help myself to make a fun slimline scene birthday card.
Since Pretty Pink Posh is turning eight years, I decided to make a birthday card to celebrate the occasion.
You can watch a tutorial for my card here.
I started off by stamping the images from the Balloon Alphabet stamp set,Balloon Numbers stamp set, Birthday Borders stamp set, and the Crafty Critters Stamp set. (Note: The Crafty Critters stamp set was a promotional stamp set during the month of February only and is not currently for sale on their website. Hopefully, some of you were able to get this set last month.)
I colored all of my images with Copic markers. The colors I used are as follows:
Mouse and Koala – Blender, C0, C1, C3, C4/R01, R11
After coloring my images, I die cut them with the coordinating dies.
Next, I die cut the Nature Essential Dies from plain white cardstock and set aside the cloud border and grass borders from this set.
To create the cloud background, I started off by cutting a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock to 3 3/8” x 8 3/8”. Next, I used the cloud border that I die cut from the Nature Essential dies along with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to create a cloud background for my card.
I also applied Mowed Lawn Distress ink to the two grass border die cuts from the Nature Essential dies.
Next, I began to assemble my card. I started off by cutting the Birthday Borders in half so that only the first six presents were showing.I added one of the grass borders behind the presents at the top of the border. I added the smaller grass border in front of the presents at the bottom of the border.I added some Mowed Lawn Distress ink to the bottom portion of the card panel and then adhered the Birthday Borders to the bottom of the slimline card panel. Next, I added the remaining stamped images to the card panel.
To add dimension to the clouds, I used the Build-A-Cupcake die set and die cut two of the frosting dies that resembles a cloud shape from white cardstock. I added Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to the clouds and then cut the cloud die cut in half. I added foam tape the to back of the cloud die cuts and added them to my card. I love how the clouds add dimension to the card.
Finally, I added the card panel to a pink slimline card base that measures 3 1/2” x 8 1/2” and added the Flamingo Pearls to the card front.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Be sure to check out all of the fun new products in Pretty Pink Posh’s February birthday release.

Today I’m sharing a fun birthday shaker card I made using the Party Cake Die Set.
This die set comes with a square frame that you can use with or without the inside scalloped edge. It also comes with a cake die. You can use the dies alone or you can use them together to frame the cake like I did in my card.
If you would like to watch how I made this card, then watch my video here.
I started off by using the frame die to die cut a piece of green cardstock and a piece of yellow cardstock. I used the green cardstock piece for the square frame and the yellow cardstock piece for the inside scalloped edge. I added those diecuts to a piece of acetate. On the reverse of the frame, I added double-sided adhesive foam to outline the square frame and then I set it aside.
Using the cake die, I die cut three pieces of cardstock – gray, pink, and green. I assembled the cake starting from the bottom to top onto a piece of white cardstock that measures 3” x 3”. I added the 3” x 3” piece with the cake assembled to the top middle of a piece of white cardstock that measures 4” x 5 1/4”.
Next, I added Sherbert Clay Confetti to the center of the cake and then added the frame to the top to seal in the confetti pieces.
I die cut the Celebrate Script word die with pink cardstock and added it beneath the frame on the card front.
Next, I added the white card panel to a piece of yellow cardstock that measures 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”. I added the yellow panel to a piece of green cardstock that measures 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”. I added the final layer to an A2 white card base.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think of my card.
Happy Crafting!

I love making slimline scene cards, so after seeing all of the adorable stamps in the Spellbinders Clear Stamp of the Month, I knew I had to make a fun spring scene. I included the girl and boy gnomes, Easter eggs, carrots, and flowers on my card.
Here are some up close pictures of my card.
For my next card, I used Spellbinders Small Die of the Month for March 2022. This die includes a die to make a bunny, a swing, and some balloons. For this card, I added a bunny on a swing that looks like it’s floating in the sky.
Next, I incorporated the Clear Stamp of the Month and the Small Die of the Month and made a mini slimline card with the girl gnome holding a set of balloons.

Card 1 features the Birthday Wreath stamp set, Layered Candles stencil, and the Crafty Critters stamp set.
I started by coloring the images in the Birthday Wreath stamp set and Crafty Critters stamp set with Copic markers. Below is a list of Copic markers I used.
Birthday Wreath:
Cake – Y00, Y08/RV02, RV06/YR12 (candle wick)/YG07
Stars – Y08
Single Candle – YR12 (wick)/V12, V15
Large Present – V12, V15, V17/YR12, YR16
Small Present – R24, R27/B01, B02, B05
Black Dot Present – YG05, YG07, YG09/RV02, RV04
Polkadot Present – YG05, YG09/B01, B05
Striped Party Hat – YR12, YR16/RV02, RV04
Polkadot Party Hat – YG05, YG09/V12, V15
Crafty Critters:
Mouse – R01, R11/C0, C1, C3, C4
Next, I cut a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ and used some Distress Oxide inks with the Layered Candles stencil to make the fun candle background. The inks I used are – Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber, Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, Tumbled Glass, and Mermaid Lagoon.
I added a piece of vellum to the top of the layered candle background to soften the colors.
I added a piece of acetate behind the birthday wreath and added it to a piece of pink cardstock that I die cut using the Scallop Circle dies. I die cut the center of the scallop circle from white cardstock and adhered the white cardstock to my card front. I added the Rainbow Sprinkles clay confetti to the center of the scalloped frame. I added double-sided adhesive foam strips to the back of the birthday wreath and added it to the top of the card to cover the sprinkles.
Finally, I added the mouse from the Crafty Critters stamp set along with a candle from the Birthday Wreath stamp set. The entire layer was added to a pink A2 size card base.
For my second card, I inked the Layered Cupcake stencil onto a piece of a Bristol Smooth cardstock which I cut to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″. The Distress Oxide ink colors I used are Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Antique Linen, Mermaid Lagoon, and Twisted Citron.
I die cut the Scallop Border die from white cardstock and added it to the bottom of the cupcake panel. I die cut the Celebrate Script word die from silver glitter cardstock and blue cardstock. I layered the two words together, offsetting them slightly, so the silver glitter cardstock shows as a shadow underneath the blue cardstock.
I used the koala stamp from the Crafty Critters stamp set and the cupcake and candle stamp from the Birthday Wreath stamp set. The Copic markers I used are as follows:
I added Blue Sky Pearls, Flamingo Pearls, and Sunshine Pearls. I added this layer to a piece of blue card that measures 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and then added that layer to a white A2 size card base.
I love to make shaker cards so for my last card, I made another shaker card. I used the Layered Presents stencil for my background. I used the following Distress Oxide inks: Spun Sugar, Mermaid Lagoon, Fossilized Amber, Dusty Concord, and Cracked Pistachio. This panel was cut to 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″.
I used the Scallop Frame die set to cut a piece of blue cardstock. I added a piece of acetate to the back of the scallop rectangle frame. I also added two layers of double sided adhesive foam around the back of the rectangle. I added the Pinata Party Clay Confetti to the center of the stenciled panel and added the rectangle to the top of the card panel.
For the sentiment, I die cut the word “Birthday” from the Birthday Wishes Script die set. I used the Birthday Scripts stamp set and stamped the word “Happy” inside of the balloon from the Birthday Wreath stamp set. I added the balloon and the koala to the front of the card. The stenciled panel was added to a piece of blue cardstock that was cut to 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ and then that was added to a white A2 card base.
I hope you liked my cards today. Don’t forget, you can watch a full tutorial over on my YouTube channel showing how I made these cards.

Today I’m sharing four creative ways to using nesting dies in your cardmaking. The dies that I will be using are from the Spellbinders Precision Layering Basics Collection. There are four die sets in this collection including two sets for A2 size cards and two sets for mini slimline cards.
The Precision Layering A2 Dies have a Set A and Set B. Each set contains 16 thin metal dies and creates evenly spaced layers that are spaced 1/8-inch for your A2 size cards. When using both Set A and Set B together, you can create layers that are spaced 1/16-inch
The Precision Layering Mini Slimline Dies also have a Set A and Set B. Each set contains 12 thin metal dies that creates evenly spaced layers that are 1/8-inch for mini slimline size cards. When using both Set A and Set B together, you can create layers that are spaced 1/16-inch.
To see these dies up close as well as four ways I used these dies in my cardmaking, watch my YouTube video below:
I created a shaker card using the Spellbinders Precision Layering A2 Dies.- Set A. I created a frame using two of the dies to create the shaker piece and used other layering dies from the set for the layers on my card.

Also don’t forget that Pretty Pink Posh is also giving away the not-yet-released Crafty Critters stamp set with an $80 purchase. If you spend $125, you will get the coordinating die set for free. This offer is good until February 28, 2022 or while supplies last!
If you would like to see the entire birthday release, check out my video below.
After the images were colored, I die cut the tags in different cardstock colors. I pieced in the horizontal line die cuts in different colors to create a multi-color tag.
For these two tags, I used bright cardstock and Copic markers to create fun, bright birthday tags.
For these tags, I used softer tones. These stamps don’t necessarily have to be used for just birthdays. You can use the tags for a new baby or baby shower.
The cake stamp reminds me of a wedding cake. You can even use it for a wedding gift tag.
