Handmade Mini Album Tutorial Using Graphic 45 Album Cover

Today on my blog is a handmade album that I made for my niece who is getting married. I have been wanting to dive into making an album as I have never made one from scratch. I have watched numerous YouTube videos on how to make the chipboard album, but wanted to start with something much simpler. Therefore, I decided to purchase a chipboard album that was already made. All I had to do was pick out some pretty paper, cut, and adhere the paper and embellishments. Therefore, if you are like me and want to make an album that is EASY, below is a YouTube tutorial on how I made this album.

Supplies:

Cardstock Measurements:

Front Cover: Pink and Cream Pattern Paper 5 3/4″ x 7 1/2″, Diamond Pattern Paper 2″ x 7 1/4″, Black card stock 2 1/4″ x 7 1/2″

Back Cover: Pattern Paper 5 3/4″ x 7 1/2″

Inside Front Cover: 7 3/4″ x 5 3/4″
Inside Back Cover: 7 3/4″ x 5 3/4″

24 full pages: Patterned paper cut to 5 1/4″ x 7 1/4″ (Can use 24 pieces of patterned paper or you can mix patterned paper and solid card stock to make 24 pieces all cut to 5 1/4″ x 7 1/4″).  Optional: If you want to have some pages with pockets on the left or right side, then cut a piece of patterned paper to 4 3/4″ x 7 1/4″ and another piece to 1 1/2″ x 7 1/4″ inches for the pocket. Decide how many of these pocket pages you want to have.

12 pieces to cover the pockets:  2 3/4″ x 5 1/4″

12 pieces to cover the tops of the pages that are above the pockets: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/4″

Tags:  3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ and round corners

Photo mats: Black card stock cut to 3 1/4″ x 8 1/2 and then fold in half. Cut patterned paper 3″ x 4″ and adhere to black card stock.
