Spellbinders Christmas Cards – Merry Stitchmas Collection

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing three Christmas cards I made using the Spellbinders Stitchmas Tree Die Set from the Merry Stitchmas Collection.

This die set comes with two metal dies to include the tree outline, or shadow piece, and the tree die with all of the details. The insert cuts dots into your cardstock to serve as a guide for stitching circular patterns to represent the ornaments on the Christmas tree. You can use embroidery floss to stitch the details in the Christmas tree, but you also have the option of using the die without embroidery.

You can change up the look of your Christmas tree by using different colors of cardstock and embroidery floss. Here is another card I made using some nontraditional Christmas colors.

To save on time, you can also use this die set without the stitching. For my card below, I adhered the Christmas tree die cut to the shadow layer and added some silver gems to the center of each circle.
