Birthday Mug Shaker Card | Pretty Pink Posh | Instagram Hop

Hello crafty friends.

For today’s card, I’m making a fun birthday shaker card using the Winter Mug die that was previously released and adding some of the new Birthday Addition dies.

I used the Winter Mug die set for the mug shape. In order to turn the mug into a shaker element, I used a die from the Birthday Mug Additions die set to cut the center out of the mug. If you would like to see how I made the mug into a shaker element, watch my video HERE.

The Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Mug Additions die set has a lot of dies that can be used for birthday cards such as candles, a piece of cake, a birthday wand, and party hats. You can use these dies in conjunction with the Winter Mug die set or as standalone dies. I die cut them with white cardstock and inked them with the following inks: Worn Lipstick, Cracked Pistachio, and Squeezed Lemonade.

For the background of my card, I used the Pretty Pink Posh Party Hats stencil to make a background full of party hats. I used the same color inks for the stenciled background.
