Hello Crafty Friends.

The Spellbinders January 2022 card kit has been released! This kit is called “Truly, Madly, Deeply” and is jammed packed full of lots of goodies to make cards. I made 16 cards with the kit and there was plenty left over to make a ton more!

Before I share my cards, let’s take a look at the contents of the kit.

The kit includes a 10 blank cards/envelopes, 9 pieces of cardstock which includes one piece of gold mirror cardstock, set of 7 dies, 6″ x 6″ paper pad, stamp set, sequins, a large pack of ephemera, tag embellishments, gold glitter foam sticker sentiments, chipboard embellishments, foam squares, and adhesive tape. Cards 1 & 2

Since there are two of each ephemera piece, for many cards, I made two of each design such as this first one. I did have to go into my cardstock stash for the second card.

I made two of these cards.

White A2 Card Base – 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
Pink Cardstock – 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
Yellow Cardstock – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
Black Cardstock Strip – 5 1/4″ x 1/4″
Heart Pattern Paper – 5 1/4″ x 4″
XO Pattern Paper – 5 1/4″ x 1″

Cards 3 & 4

I made two of these cards.

White A2 Card Base – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Gold Mirror Cardstock – 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
Pink Polka dot Pattern Paper – 4″ x 5 1/4″
Gold Mirror Cardstock – 2 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ (underneath sentiment)

Cards 5 & 6

I made two of these cards and used different gold glitter puffy sticker sentiments for each card.

White A2 Card Base – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Pink Cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
XO Pattern Paper – 4 1/4″ x 4 15/16″
Pink Polka dot Pattern Paper – 2″ x 5 1/2″

Cards 7 & 8

I made two of these cards and used different small tags. Once says “Always & Forever.” The other one says “You Are My Happy.”

White A2 Card Base – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Pink Cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Black/White Floral Pattern Paper – 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
Heart Pattern Paper – 4 1/8″ x 2″

Cards 9 & 10

I made two of these cards and changed the sentiment strip. For the card on the left, I used the XOXO sentiment strip ephemera piece. For the card on the right, I used the word “Always” in the glitter puffy sticker.

White A2 Card Base – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Pink Cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Envelope Pattern Paper – 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
Blue Pattern Paper – For this one, I did not measure. I adhered it to the envelope paper at a diagonal and trimmed off the excess paper.

Cards 11 & 12

I made two of these cards and changed the sentiment for each one. For one card, I added the chipboard heart and an arrow to the top of the circle heart ephemera piece. For the second card, I added the sentiment “Forever Friends.”

White A2 Card Base – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Yellow Dog Pattern Paper – 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
Gold Star Pattern Paper – 2″ x 5 3/8″

Card 13

White A2 Card Base – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Blue Cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Gold Mirror Cardstock – 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
Pattern Paper – 4″ x 5 1/4″

Card 14

White A2 Card Base – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Red Cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Lip Pattern Paper – 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
Hearts – I used the die from the Spellbinders Clear Stamp/Coordinating Die of the Month and cut two hearts from the pink pattern paper.

Cards 15 & 16

I made two of these cards.

White A2 Card Base – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Blue Cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Blue Square Pattern Paper – 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
Gold Mirror Cardstock – 2 3/8″ x 3 5/8″
Star Pattern Paper – 2 1/4″ x 3 1/2″
