Hello Card using Wreath2Stamp

wreath2stamp_Hello_Card

Hello!

I really love the colors pink and green together and decided to use them for this card that I made  with the February 2019 stamp set from The Stamps of Life called Wreath2Stamp.

I started off by cutting the card base from the Sizzix Card/Rounded Corners w/Circle Drop-ins die set and Kiwi card stock. Next, I used the layering piece from the same die set to cut a piece of patterned paper from the Together Collection patterned paper pad. The layering piece has the same rounded corner look as the card base which I then adhered to the front of the card.

Next, using Candy card stock, I die cut the scalloped circle using the Scalloped Circle dies. I thought the scalloped circle and the patterned paper looked really nice together since the pattern on the paper has the same scalloped circle pattern in various colors and sizes.  Next, I stamped the sentiment “hello” from the Wreath2Stamp stamp set using the Cloud ink pad and then adhered the scalloped circle to the front of the card.

Next, using the Kiwi ink pad, I stamped the wreath from the Wreath2Stamp stamp set onto white card stock and die cut it using the coordinator Wreath2Stamp coordinating die set. Using foam tape to add some dimension, I adhered the wreath it to the scalloped circle.

Next, I die cut the flowers using white card stock for the shadow layers and Candy card stock for the flower pieces and adhered them together with a glue dot. The leaves were die cut with Artichoke card stock and also adhered behind the flowers using a glue dot. The flowers were adhered to the wreath using double-sided tape. Next,  I added some bling to the center of the flowers using Queen and Co’s Candy Shoppe Frosties in Green. Last, a pink ribbon was tied to the top of the card.
