Spellbinders Clear Stamp & Small Die of the Month – August 2021

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing two cards that I made using Spellbinders Stamp of the Month and Small Die of the Month for August 2021. To see the stamp set and die set up close and how I made my cards, watch my YouTube video below:

My first card is a slimline card. For the slimline card layers, I used the Spellbinders Hemstich Slimline die set. I added a piece of gold mirror cardstock to the back of the layer so the gold shines through the holes in the die. I used the Spellbinders Small Die of the Month on the front of the card. I added a piece of gold mirror cardstock to two of the hexagon shapes and then layered the intricate hexagon dies in three shades of pink cardstock. I added a sentiment from the Spellbinders Stamp of the Month to the middle hexagon shape. I used gold embossing powder for the sentiment.

For my second card, I stamped the floral image from the Spellbinders Stamp of the Month onto the front of an A2 size card layer. I used the solid stamps from the stamp set coupled with various inks to color the flowers. I added one of the hexagon shapes to the center of the card using gold mirror cardstock and stamped the sentiment inside.
