Festive Christmas Cupcakes Card with Pink and Red | Pretty Pink Posh

Hello crafty friends.

Today’s card features a festive Christmas card with lots of pink and red! All of the stamps and dies I used on my card are from Pretty Pink Posh‘s newest Christmas release.

Christmas Cupcakes Stamp and Pierced Snowflakes Die Pretty Pink Posh

I used three of the cupcakes from the Christmas Cupcakes stamp set and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. The colors I used are as follows:

Peach Pink
Red
Mustard (Gingerbread man)
Sugar Almond Pink (Santa’s cheeks)
Flesh Colour (Santa’s face)
Cool Gray (Cupcake frosting)
Pale Gray (Santa’s beard and mustache)

For the background panel, I used the Pierced Snowflakes die. This die pierces the cardstock to create a beautiful snowflake design in the cardstock.

Next, I used Distress Oxide inks to create a background of reds and pinks. I used the darkest color red at the top which is Candied Apple followed by Festive Berries. Next, I added my darkest pink which is Picked Raspberry followed by Kitsch Flamingo and Spun Sugar.

I added the Scallop Border die to the bottom of the ink-blended panel. I die cut it from white cardstock to look like snow. I added the cupcakes to the snow and then added the Merry Christmas Shadow die to the top of the card. Finally, I added the white snowflake clay confetti pieces from the Candy Cane Lane Confetti Mix.
