Butterfly Cards – Pink and Main

Hello! Today on my blog I’m sharing a four butterfly cards that I created using some products from Pink and Main. I used the Dearest Friend stamp set, Bold Butterfly Cover Dies, and the Plaid Cover Dies. I love the large size of the beautiful butterfly in the stamp set and the cover die set. I’ll show you more about these products and how I made each of these cards in my YouTube video.

For my first card, I created a dimensional card by coloring the butterfly twice. The first time, I colored it on a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ inch panel cut with Bristol Smooth Cardstock. The second time, I colored it, I fussy cut it out, and then layered it on top of the card panel to create a beautiful dimensional look.

For my next card, I colored the butterfly image and fussy cut it out and then layered it on the Plaid Cover Die Panels. These cover dies come in two panels – A and B. The panel die can be used separately or used together to create a layered look.

My next card is a slimline card. I created a watercolor background and then stamped the butterfly image onto the background using Versamark ink. I sprinkled white embossing power over the top and heat set it.

For my final card, I used the Bold Butterfly Cover Dies — Panels A, B, and C — to create a layered look for my butterfly. You can achieve a beautiful colorful butterfly without any coloring just by using these panel dies as well as different color cardstock.
