Pink and Main June 2021 Release

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing two cards that I made using products from Pink and Main’s June 2021 release. This release is all about summer! I love to make summer cards so I was super excited to see all of the fun products in this release. If you want to see all of the products, please check out my YouTube video below.

In the meantime, here are the two cards I made using a few of the products from Pink and Main’s June release. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be making cards with all of the products so be sure to stay tuned…

For my first card, I ink blended a sky background using Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink onto a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock that measures 4″ x 5 1/4″. Next, I used the Sunny Hello dies to die cut cardstock in various shades of orange and yellow. I also die cut the flip flops from a piece of pattern paper and black card stock. I paper pieced the sun and flip flops together to create the fun sun shown on my card. I die cut the Sunny Hello word die in orange and yellow cardstock. I layered the two cardstock colors to create a layered look. The entire card layer was adhered to an orange A2 size card base.

For my next card, I used the Aloha die. I die cut it from three colors of cardstock — blue, green, and light orange. I paper pieced the cardstock layers to create the beautiful hibiscus flower shape. I adhered that onto a piece of patterned paper that measures 4″ x 5 1/4″. I also die cut the Aloha word die and layered it onto a white shadow layer. I colored the Stand Tall flamingo stamp and added it to the front of the card with dimensional foam tape. The patterned paper layer was added to a piece of blue cardstock that measures 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ and the entire card layer was adhered to the top of an A2 white card base.
