Sunflower Cards | Pretty Pink Posh Fall Release & Blog Hop

For the blog hop, I’m sharing three sunflower cards that I made with some of the new products from Pretty Pink Posh’s new release.

Card 1

Pretty Pink Posh - Sunflower Handmade Cards - Mouse Friends Stamp Set - Potted Sunflowers Stamp Set

For this card, I cut a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and used Distress Oxide inks to ink blend the background. I used Shabby Shutters ink on the lower inch of the cardstock. I used Antique Linen ink in the center and Tumbled Glass ink on the top. I added the Picket Fence die where the Tumbled Glass and the Shabby Shutters ink meet. I stamped the sentiment from the Potted Sunflowers stamp set. Next, I added all of my stamped images to create this cute fall scene. Finally, I added the card panel to an A2 size card base.   7. Distress Oxide inks in the following colors: Shabby Shutters, Antique Linen, Tumbled Glass

Card 2

Pretty Pink Posh - Sunflower Handmade Cards - Sunflower Stenciled Card - Sunflower Stencil

For my second card, I cut a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock to 5 1/4″ x 4″ and then I inked the Layered Sunflowers Stencil with the following Distress Oxide inks: Mustard Seed (for the petals), Walnut Stain (for the center), Rustic Wilderness (for the leaves), and Rusty Hinge (to add depth to the petals).

Next, I die cut the Grateful Script die from black cardstock and adhered it to the center of the card panel. I added this panel to a piece of black cardstock that measures 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and then added it to an A2 size card base.

Card 3

Pretty Pink Posh - Sunflower Handmade Cards - Potted Sunflowers Stamp Set - Mouse Friends Stamp Set - Watercoloring Sunflowers

For this card, I colored four of the sunflower border images from the Pretty Pink Posh Potted Sunflowers stamp set. I arranged them in a rectangle shape on the front center of a white cardstock panel that measures 4″ x 5 1/4″. I added the mouse from the Mouse Friends stamp set to the center of the frame. Next, I heat embossed the sentiment “You’re Special” onto black cardstock and added it to the card. Finally, I added the card layer to a piece of black cardstock that measures 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ and then added it to an A2 size card base.
