Hello friends.
Pretty Pink Posh is celebrating their 10th birthday all month long and these penguins are joining in the celebration!

To kick off this party, Pretty Pink Posh is having an Instagram hop where you have the opportunity to win a gift certificate to the Pretty Pink Posh store. If you would like to participate, hop over to my Instagram page and find my post with the picture my card to find out more. Click HERE to get to my Instagram page.

The products I used on my card are from Pretty Pink Posh’s February 2024 release which is packed full of birthday themed stamps, dies, and stencils. If you would like to see all of the products in the release, watch my unboxing video on YouTube or below.
I love making scene cards and the Scallop Box Card die set makes it so easy to create a fun little scene inside.

Be sure to check out my YouTube video to see how I put this card together.
I started by coloring the stamps from the Penguin Pals stamp set and the Party Time stamp set using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens in the following colors: Turquoise Green, Bright Yellow, Yellow, Light Carmine, Light Gray, Cool Gray 6, and Lilac.

Next, I used the Layered Balloons Stencil to create a background of balloons. I inked the balloons using the following Distress Oxide inks: Shaded Lilac, Salvaged Patina, Squeezed Lemonade, Worn Lipstick, and Hickory Smoke.

Once I finished inking the stenciled background, I die cut it with the layering dies from the Scallop Box Card. I stamped the sentiment from the Party Time stamp set onto the rectangular layering piece that goes in front of the box card and then added all of the layering die cuts to the card base. I wanted it to look like there were balloons floating throughout the sky.

Finally, I added the stamped images to the box card to create a fun little birthday scene. I love using this Scallop Box card to create little scenes with stamps. It makes it look so dimensional too!

Thanks for the video. I appreciate it. The card is absolutely charming!! I think you said Distress Ink a couple of times but Oxides were used. For anyone who is new to stamping, there are both Distress ink pads and Distress Oxide pads.
