Hello crafty friends.
I’m super excited to be joining Trinity Stamps in their 4th birthday release called Sweet Summer Celebration.
This release is packed with so many great products and I’m going to start this summer celebration by making five Popsicle cards. I’ll be showing you so many fun techniques for Popsicle cards including a popsicle shaker, stencil cards, popsicles with pattern paper, and adding texture and dimension to your cards.
In my video below, I will show you how I made all of my popsicle cards. You can watch how I made all of my cards here.
Before I get into more detail about my five cards, I want to make you aware of an awesome opportunity to win one of TWO $50 USD gift certificates to the Trinity Store by participating in a blog hop full of inspiration for the new release. You are currently visiting my blog and you are invited to hop around to all of the blogs, leave a comment, and be entered into a drawing to win one of TWO $50 USD gift certificates to the Trinity Store. Card 1
For my first card, I made a fun summery slimline card using several new products from the Sweet Summer release. I was super excited to see all of the new embellishment mixes included with this new release and I couldn’t wait to add some to this popsicle card! I added dimension using some of Scrapbook.com’s Pops of Color and the Trinity Stamps Sugared Surprise Embellishment Mix to create a topping for my popsicle.

—Distress Oxide Inks: Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber, Walnut Stain
Card 2
Have you seen the new Trinity Stamps Double Scoop paper pad? The papers in the pad look so realistic. There are ice cream papers, frosting papers, and of course, watermelon papers! I decided to use the watermelon paper to create this yummy watermelon pop!

Two of my favorite cards to make are shaped cards and shaker cards! Well, this card has both! I used the Popsicle Die Set to make a shaped popsicle shaker card!

I added three popsicles to my card front. I was able to customize the sentiment using the Embossed Modern Alphabet die set. This card can be used for Father’s Day which is just around the corner!
