Hello crafty friends.
Spellbinders is celebrating their 20th birthday this month and they have launched a Birthday Celebrations Collection with lots of fun birthday stamps, dies, stencils, embossing folders, and more!
Today I’m going to be making several birthday cards using many of the new products in their Birthday Celebrations Collection.

Card 1
For my first card, I made a slimline card. I used the Party Spots Embossing Folder for the background of my card. I added Distress Oxide ink in Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass for the sky and Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn for the grass. I love how the balloon animal is popping out of the surprise box! Both of these are new dies in the Spellbinders Birthday Celebration collection.
I just love the dimension that the surprise box adds to the card. I added sentiments to the front of the box from the Birthday Unboxing Stamp Set. I also added some multi-color crinkle paper to the inside of the box.
Card 2
For my next card, I used the Hand Drawn Scallops Embossing Folder for the background of the card. I really love the size of the new Spellbinders Embossing Folders! They measure 5 3/4″ x 8 3/4″ which are perfect for A2, 5″ x 7″, and slimline cards! I used the Stitched Fringe Cake Die Set as the centerpiece of my card. I added the sentiment from the Birthday Unboxing Sentiments Stamp Set.
Card 3
For my next card, I used the Party Spots Embossing Folder. I added five balloons from the Color Block Balloon Die Set. I added several different colored cardstock pieces to the balloons in rainbow colors. I love how the large sentiment from the It’s Party Time Stamp Set fits perfectly inside of the large balloon!
Card 4
For my next card, I added Distress Oxide inks in rainbow colors on the On The Dots stencil. I added two balloons from the Color Block Balloons Die Set and the Stylized Happy Birthday word die.
