Today I’m sharing two cards that I made using the Create-a-Scene die set from The Stamps of Life. This die set makes a fun card base and has several other dies that can be added to it to make a fun card (ie: dotted panel dies, Celebrate word die, candles, birdhouses, trees, etc.)
For my first card, I used the Celebrate word die and candles die set to add to the card base to make a fun birthday card.
For my second card, I used the birdhouse dies which are part of the Create-a-Scene set. The birdhouse dies were intended to be used for the front of the Create-a-Scene card base, but I chose to use them on the slimline card as shown below.
To see how I made these cards, watch my tutorial here:
There is a brand new kit over at the The Stamps of Life which is called “Trendy Twig.” There are so many fun products in this kit including the brand new ink color — Twig! The kit includes a full size Twig ink pad with refill, pattern paper pad, five petal stencil, ephemera, felt bows, epxoy dots, flourish stamps/dies, and two ribbon. Let me just say that there is SO MUCH ephemera in this kit! Not only do you have a separate pack of ephemera filled with die cuts such as turtles, picnic baskets, llamas, wreaths, flowers, and birdhouses, but the paper pad also has several sheets of ephemera that can be die cut or fussy cut for even more ephemera to include on your cards!
There are several corresponding stamp and die sets that go along with this kit which include the following:
While you definitely do not need the above sets for this kit, I used some of the sentiments on the corresponding stamps for my cards. In addition, if you want to die cut the ephemera in the paper pad, you can use the matching dies. However, if you don’t have the matching dies, you can fussy cut the ephemera from the paper pad.

Scallop Border Die – cut two from Powdered Sugar cardstock (This was a die from a previous Stamps of Life card kit.)
Approx 4 1/4″ Circle Die (Powdered Sugar cardstock) Llama2Stamp (sentiment on front) Garden2Stamp (sentiment on inside)
Inside of card – 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ strip of pattern paper The Stamps of Life Cardstock – Powdered Sugar, Gingersnap Arteza Foam Mounting Tape Art Glitter Glue
There’s a new release over at The Stamps of Life…it’s birdhouse fold-it card! This one measures 5×7 inches. You can use it as a card shaped like a birdhouse, put it on a 5×7 inch card, or decorate a scrapbook page with it. I used it here as a 5×7 inch card shaped like a birdhouse. The die set comes with the large birdhouse as well as two smaller birds with shadows.
I’m so excited to share with you my latest 10 Cards 1 Kit project using The Stamps of Life January 2020 card kit. This kit is so much fun! It corresponds with the monthly stamp and die set – birdhouses2stamp.
The color pallet for this month is cherry, chocolate, kiwi, banana, lemonade, ocean, strawberry, gingersnap, and a brand new color — vanilla! The vanilla cardstock replaces the powdered sugar cardstock that has been in the card kits previously. There are even vanilla envelopes!
The kit comes with a petite paper pad — the Dream Collection. I absolutely love The Stamps of Life paper pads because four of the sheets in this month’s paper pad include birdhouse diecuts that can be die cut with the corresponding shadow die from the birdhouses2stamp die set. There are a total of 38 birdhouse diecuts and 20 bird diecuts from this paper pad! This means super easy and quick cards!
The kit also comes with two dies — a cloud die and a word die. The cloud die comes with a shadow layer as well as a top layer that is stitched with raindrops which add texture when die cut. The word die, Dream, comes with a shadow layer and word.
In addition, the kit comes with buttons in chocolate, kiwi, and strawberry. The buttons are not ordinary buttons though. Instead, they have sticky flat backs that can adhere directly onto the front of a card. There are also some beautiful rhinestone flower embellishments, cherry ribbon, and kiwi polka dot ribbon.
Lastly, the kit comes with a sheet of chipboard pieces which include birdhouses, hearts, flowers, and sentiments. More information on The Stamps of Life clubs can be found here.

Hello! Today on my blog I’m sharing a slimline card that I made using the January release of the birdhouses2stamp set from The Stamps of Life. The set comes with four birdhouse stamps, a branch or birdhouse stand, a bird, a small heart, and four sentiments.
I stamped the images and colored them with my Copic markers and then cut them out using the shadow dies from the birdhouses2stamp die set. The wreath2stamp die set was used to die cut the tiny flowers.
I used The Stamps of Life Color Box inks to ink blend a background using Seaglass, Ocean, and Sky inks.
I just love how this card turned out!
